Back again with some more Blood Bowl ^^

Now this video was done during my internship at Cyanide Studio in 2008. I didn't put the cinematic on my site for confidential reasons. Now that the Dark Elves have officially been released in November 2009, I can finally add this video !!

It was frustrating to not show you this video before the release. I have to admit I was proud of this one because I animated all the characters (and camera) on the field from sec. 7 to 22. I also worked on their in-game animations.

But it was most of all fun to animate these guys, especially the witch but I'll get back to that :p First of all, the design they have just made them look so... cool and bad ass at the same time. So it was really challenging to make that "cool bad ass" attitude come out. To better imagine how they would act on the field, I started asking myself "What did I do when I showed off on the ice when playing hockey ?". Just kidding !! Or am I...

The best part though was animating the witch. I remember being teased or simply having some co-workers being "jealous" of the fact that I was the one spending time at looking and animating such a beautiful character all day long ^^ Some of the guys would come to me and say "Oh... I see YOU are working VERY HARD !!" in a totally ironic tone. It just made even more fun for me because I felt really lucky to be the one animating her. Others would just say "Oh you PERV !!", my response to that was "Hey don't blame me... I'm just doing my job". And a cool job too :p

I even remember some saying "Ah... I knew I should of become an artist instead of a programmer". I just couldn't stop myself from laughing. It was a really really fun experience.
